Embrace The Onset Of Fall With Velvety Smooth Vermont Maple Creme Coffee

9 min read AUG 14, 2025

If you had to guess, what would you say is the most popular season in the US?

According to some surveys, fall is a clear winner in America, with more than 40% of our population proclaiming the autumn months win over their hearts more so than spring, summer, and winter.

What about you

Has fall won over your heart as well?

For me, choosing a favorite season is difficult because I absolutely love the onset of each one.

  • I love when the trees become bare and the temperatures dip, signaling the coming of winter along with the first of many snowy blankets covering the ground.
  • Then, I love the feeling in the air when the sun seems a bit warmer and the rain gutters produce a dripping song as droplets of melted snow heavily fall to produce a rhythmic welcoming of spring.
  • I also love to see spring leaves turn a bolder shade of green, perfectly painting a contrast of hues against a vividly blue summer sky, the heat amplifying its warmth past the capabilities of a soft spring, communicating a time for lawn mowing, pool fun, and seemingly endless starry nights.

However, while my adoration for these changes often tops any one particular season in its entirety, alas, like most Americans, the following shifts are what stir my heart most…

I absolutely love when the afternoon heat seems to linger even though the morning air has already begun to change, signifying the loosening of summer’s grasp, making way for autumn.

Every year it seems like I’m experiencing it for the first time…and, it’s hard to describe…but there’s a noticeable shift.

Just before children begin to dot the sidewalks, waiting each morning for the school bus, it isn’t just the air that feels different to me - no, life as a whole seems to communicate simplicity, a sense of calm, and an air of gratitude.

Have you ever felt this?

It’s not just the morning temps.

And, it’s not just the scent of soon-to-be falling leaves.

Somehow fall truly seems to usher in a time of reflection.

Despite busy school schedules and an increase in work production as the year winds down, there’s something calm and settling about the autumn months.

It’s a time when the aromas specific to this season are accompanied by fond memories of apple-picking, pumpkin carving, and Thanksgiving feasts.

It’s a time when crisp air signifies cool camping temperatures, Halloween festivities, and crunchy steps through fallen leaves.

And, it’s a time when familiar flavors are welcomed, those which seem to enhance not only the enjoyment of this season, but offer feelings of warmth, calm, and comfort.

Of course, there are a number of fall flavor staples the world swoons over, and today we’re covering one of the sweet ones - maple

One of nature’s wonderful offerings, maple is a gift of confectionary caramel-like tastes with soft and subtle notes of velvety vanilla, a slight nuttiness, and an unparalleled smooth, creamy texture.

But, while some folks enjoy adding pure maple syrup to their coffee for a touch of sweetness, we’re partial to our Vermont Maple Creme flavored coffee selection.

Using our beloved Medium Roast Coffee as a base, these clean, sustainably grown coffee beans are infused with essential oils and baking extracts like maple and vanilla to bring you an aroma that fills your home and warms your heart, followed by flavors that happily dance across your tastebuds much like fall leaves dance across empty streets with a cool autumn breeze.

Ah, I don’t know about you, but right now my senses are piqued and my mouth is watering.

So, let’s transition into the kitchen and whip up some incredibly tasty, fall-fitting recipes using Lifeboost Vermont Maple Creme Coffee!

5 Vermont Maple Creme Coffee Recipes To Welcome The Fall Season

1- Maple Creme Latte

Let’s start simple…

While the autumn months do seem to inherently bring a sense of calm to our hearts and minds, there’s still no denying the fact that this season can also be quite busy.

School is back in session, and parents are rushing to soccer practice and football practice, tutoring sessions, music lessons, and more, all while decorating for fall and planning the annual Halloween bash.

Yet, as the temps cool, there’s a nagging need that overcomes us, beckoning us to stop and smell the maple…or roses…or I guess mums this time of year?

My point is, somehow, fall flavors have a way of reminding us to slow down, and whipping up a super simple latte is a great way to savor these seasonal sips to usher in some quiet enjoyment of, well, all of it…the busy-ness, the quiet, the cool temps, and the fabulous flavors!

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces strongly brewed Lifeboost Vermont Maple Creme Coffee
  • 6 ounces whole milk, divided
  • 2 tablespoons real maple syrup, divided
  • Pinch of cinnamon, optional for garnish

Instructions

  • Add freshly brewed coffee, 2 ounces of whole milk, and one tablespoon of real maple syrup to a large mug, stirring to combine.
  • Add 4 ounces whole milk and one tablespoon maple syrup to an electric frother and froth on the heated setting.
  • Pour frothed maple milk over the coffee mixture in your mug, top with a dusting of cinnamon if desired, and enjoy!

**If you prefer iced lattes, you can simply substitute cold brew for freshly brewed coffee here. Then add ice to a tall glass, pour in the cold brew, 2 ounces of milk, and one tablespoon of maple syrup, stirring to combine.

Next, when adding the remaining milk and maple syrup to your electric frother, select the cold froth setting. Once frothed, add the maple cold foam to the top of your latte, dust with cinnamon if desired, and enjoy!

2- Irish Coffee In Vermont

An Irish coffee is a standing favorite amongst coffee cocktail connoisseurs, much like maple flavors are a staple in the northeastern portion of the United States.

So, why not combine these two indulgences to create a cocktail that boasts the flavors of fall, warming you from the inside out with ingredients like bold, smooth coffee and Irish whiskey, complete with rich maple syrup and a velvety layer of soft, buttery cream. Yum!

Ingredients

  • 6 ounces freshly brewed Lifeboost Vermont Maple Creme Coffee
  • 1 ½ ounces Irish Whiskey
  • 2 tablespoons real maple syrup
  • ¼ cup heavy whipping cream
  • ¼ teaspoon pure vanilla extract

Instructions

  • Add freshly brewed coffee, maple syrup, and Irish whiskey to a mug and stir to combine.
  • Add heavy cream and vanilla to a bowl and whisk or froth until soft peaks form.
  • Spoon the thickened vanilla heavy cream over the coffee mixture to create an even layer of
  • cream on top of your brew. Enjoy!

3- Iced Maple Pecan Latte

While the onset of fall brings cooler morning temps and a few blustery days, there’s still commonly a bit of heat that remains, especially in the afternoon hours.

So, of course we had to include a chilly offering within these maple-themed mug-fillers.

Here, you’ll get to experience one of my favorite maple companions as we add rich and buttery pecans to this decadently delicious treat!

Even better, this one makes enough for two, so feel free to share!

**This calls for pecan butter. I’ve found this ingredient to be a little tricky, meaning that sometimes it’ll be readily available, while other times it’s more difficult to find. So, if you are unable to find pecan butter, feel free to use cashew butter as this is a tasty, creamy alternative.

Ingredients (serves 2)

  • 8 ounces cold brewed Lifeboost Vermont Maple Creme Coffee
  • 1 cup almond milk (frozen into ice cubes)
  • 1 tablespoon pecan butter
  • 1 tablespoon real maple syrup
  • ⅛ cup pecan halves
  • ⅓ cup almond coffee creamer
  • Whipped cream, optional for topping
  • Ground cinnamon, optional for topping

Instructions

  • Prior to making this treat, add 1 cup almond milk to an ice cube tray/mold, place in the freezer, and freeze for at least 4 hours (preferably overnight).
  • When ready to make the drink, add pecan butter, maple syrup, and pecan halves to a blender and blend together.
  • Add cold brew, almond milk ice cubes, and almond creamer to the maple pecan mixture, and blend on high until smooth.
  • Once blended, pour into a tall glass, top with whipped cream and a dusting of cinnamon, if desired, and enjoy!

4- Maple And Spice Is Twice As Nice

I’m sure you’ve noticed that we continually list maple syrup as “real maple syrup.”

Why do we do that?

Unfortunately, not all maple syrup is actually maple syrup.

Oftentimes grocery shelves contain syrups which are nothing more than a combination of corn syrups and artificial flavorings.

Whereas ‘real maple syrup’ is just that, maple syrup that is naturally derived from the sap of maple (or sugar maple) trees.

And, as you can imagine, a natural source, like real maple syrup, provides not only a subtle touch of sweetness, but a wealth of health benefits as well.

Real maple syrup is a low glycemic food, and it is loaded with antioxidants.

In fact, its antioxidant content alone makes maple syrup a potent fighter of oxidative stress, while also combating inflammation and disease.

Maple syrup is known to be gentler on your digestive health than cane sugar, and it can even  improve the effectiveness of antibiotics.

And, the vitamin and mineral content of maple syrup (particularly in items such as zinc, manganese, potassium, and calcium) provides benefits ranging from improvements in fat and carbohydrate metabolism, blood sugar regulation, calcium absorption, and brain and nerve function.

Of course, maple syrup is still a form of sugar, so you’ll want to consume it in moderation, but opting for this natural sweetener has proven to grant rewards greater than artificial sweeteners and table sugar.

Great flavor and health benefits? It’s a win, win!

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces strongly brewed Lifeboost Vermont Maple Creme Coffee
  • ½ cup milk
  • 1 tablespoon real maple syrup
  • Pinch of ground cloves
  • Pinch of ground cinnamon
  • Pinch of ground nutmeg
  • Pinch of ground cardamom

Instructions

  • Add maple syrup and spices to the bottom of a large mug, stirring to combine.
  • Pour hot coffee over the maple-spice mixture, and stir to combine.
  • Add milk to an electric frother and froth on the heated setting.
  • Pour frothed milk over the coffee mixture and enjoy!

5- Sea Salt Maple Latte

Salted caramel is a flavor we commonly see in the autumn months, but have you ever tried salted maple?

Like caramel, maple syrup provides a rich and velvety sweetness to coffee, and the addition of sea salt actually serves to enhance these flavors, even bringing balance to a well crafted coffee beverage.

So, let’s close things out with a twist on the salted caramel fall classic, instead opting for an elevation of the magnificent maple flavors in this brew.

Ingredients

  • 4 ounces strongly brewed Lifeboost Vermont Maple Creme Coffee
  • 8 ounces oat milk
  • 1-2 tablespoons real maple syrup
  • ⅛ teaspoon fine sea salt

Instructions

  • Add maple syrup and sea salt to a large mug.
  • Pour freshly brewed coffee over the syrup and sea salt, stirring to combine.
  • Steam the non dairy milk using a steaming wand from an espresso machine, or warm the milk slowly on the stovetop. (Add oat milk to a small saucepan and heat over low-medium heat just until the milk is warmed throughout. Be careful not to boil.) Once the milk is warmed, you can froth with a handheld frother. *Generally, an electric frother won’t hold a full cup of milk, so the above options provide alternatives to this method, through steam or stovetop heating.
  • After the oat milk is either steamed or warmed and frothed, pour onto the coffee mixture, and enjoy!
