Coffee Topper Example Videos
Hot Skim Milk
Skim milk produced a dense foam that was firm, smooth, velvety, and stable. However, the addition of spices like cinnamon made it less dense.
Hot 2% Milk
2% milk produced a smooth foam as well but was less stable.
Hot Whole Milk
Whole milk produced a foam that was just as smooth and dense cold as it was hot. And, as far as aesthetics, it gives your coffee a shiny, beautiful topper.
Hot Heavy Cream
ย Heavy whipping cream is my personal favorite to add to coffee.
I use it all the time for the healthy fats, immune properties, and the fact that it has hardly any lactose compared to milk so it doesnโt mess up your stomach.ย
Hot Oat Milk
Oat milk doesnโt pour well as it still has a layer of milk underneath the foam in the frother.
If youโre looking to strictly have foam on top of your hot cup of coffee, simply spoon the foam from the frother onto your coffee rather than pouring from the frother. This foam will be very fluffy, and is decently stable.
Hot Almond Milk
Almond milk consistently produced a very smooth, velvety foam and was stable for a long time. (*Note: Almond Breeze brand almond milk produced a superior foam when compared to other brands.)
Cold Skim Milk
Skim milk produced a dense foam that was firm, smooth, velvety, and stable. However, the addition of spices like cinnamon made it less dense.
Cold 2% Milk
2% milk produced a smooth foam as well but was less stable.
Cold Whole Milk
Whole milk produced a foam that was just as smooth and dense cold as it was hot. And, as far as aesthetics, it gives your coffee a shiny, beautiful topper.
Cold Heavy Cream
Heavy cream is pure gold when frothed cold. I was a bit concerned that frothing cold heavy cream would just produce whipped cream, but this wasnโt the case at all.
Even with the addition of spices, sugars, and various syrups, cold heavy cream produced a consistent foam that poured like thick, liquid velvet and lasted a long while.
Cold Oat Milk
Naturally flavored hazelnut coffee, homemade hazelnut syrup, light oat milk foam made slightly creamier with mct powder...if thatโs not taking things to the next level, I donโt know what is!
Itโs not super fancy, but it is a must have for hazelnut lovers!
Cold Almond Milk
This one keeps things super simple. Call it a cold foam trial run, if you will.ย
Get the basics down with this one, and then youโll be able to add style and flare, or just keep rocking the basics!ย
The Great Pumpkin
In 1966, a Charles Schulz favorite aired: โItโs The Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown.โย
And, though some of you may be skeptical about this next tidbit of information, some say that Schulz celebrated by making this exact drink.ย
Some even say that the actual scene with Linus in the pumpkin patch on Halloween night, waiting for the Great Pumpkin to arrive, was inspired by this creamy brew.
Blueberry Hillโs Thrill
Cool. Refreshing. Creamy. Slightly fruity. This drink just screams summer!
So, sit back and listen to the wind blowing through the willows, singing loveโs sweet melody, as you enjoy this thrilling blueberry treat.ย
Admit it, youโre singing it nowโฆโI found my thrill, on blueberry hillโฆโ
Melting Maple
If youโre mad about maple, youโll love this creation. Itโs light and has just enough of a hint of fall to invoke those warm and inviting feelings that surround the autumn season.ย
And, if youโre enjoying this in the warmer fall months and would like an iced option, simply chill or cold brew your coffee and add ice. You can froth the milk on the cold setting as well.
Yuletide Pride
The only thing that would make this better is if it were served in a moosehead shaped glass.ย
And, just remember, if youโre enjoying this with company during the holiday season and things get unexpectedly crazy: Clark didnโt actually follow through on his temptation to drive cousin Eddy out into the middle of nowhere and leave him for dead, and neither should you!ย
